This may seem random, but I’m going to say it anyway. Back in the mid 70s when I was part of a meditation cult I was sent down to the mall in Washington DC, there was a big spiritual festival there with all kinds of spiritual groups attending. I was walking around when two guys walked up to me, we started talking, and they said that one of them had died and resuscitated in the Vietnam war and had gained a special power. He said he had the ability to make somebody “high”. The next thing I know, I was having an experience akin to peaking on LSD. I got high as a kite and was grinning like an idiot. They both frowned at me and walked away. I was doing a ton of meditation back then I don’t know if I was carrying some spiritual armor or what. Basically I don’t know what the fuck was going on. It did open my eyes to the reality of being intensely affected by someone else’s mind.
I have gone through kundalini activation and certainly am not possessed by demons. But, when anyone opens to spiritual energy beyond their understanding, they can become prey to demonic energies. Catholics included. People speaking in tongues. The so called Light Language. Channelling. IT is all to do with the human ego and heart. Pure heart, pure mind - no demon can touch you.

After spending my youth rebelling against "the system" and fighting to "save the planet," I came across a profound statement by the Indian mystic Osho (then known as Rajneesh) in 1987:

This completely shifted my perspective. It turned me 180°—away from worrying about the world and back toward myself, beginning the slow, grinding process of shedding that which I am not and rediscovering that which I am. Awakening, as they say, is a deeply destructive process—it destroys our illusions.
As all the great masters teach: KNOW THYSELF.
Once you do, everything else naturally falls into place.
And let me add something the ancient masters may not have emphasized, as this frequency hadn’t been fully embodied on the planet at the time:
LOVE THYSELF.
When we vibrate at the frequency of love, we cannot help but love others—and so many of our problems dissolve effortlessly. ;)
