In high German "ganz" means entire, all over --- which this shield technology did -- provided all over protection or, as you point out, all over concentration of energy from the Galactic center.
I can buy into your concept. Ascension and descension cycles have been a part of a number of different philosophies and would seem to make sense. I do not buy into your timing.
I am 76 years old. I grew up in a town of 50k northwest of Chicago. I remember:
1. No interstate expressways or shopping malls
2. No branch banking
3. Being a cub scout and marching in Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Armistice Day parades
4. Growing up in a peer group that could hardly wait to leave home and be on their own
5. Buying a piece of candy at the neighborhood grocery store for 1 cent, and shopping for meat at the local meat market
6. Being a middle class family with 1 car
7. Walking to school. Buses were for athletic teams traveling away.
8. Taking ballroom dancing lessons
9. Looking for someone who had access to the latest Playboy edition
In the last 76 years, the world has descended into a hell at a frenzied pace. Why? Why were the bad guys in such a hurry. What do they know, that we don't.

As a student of martial arts I used to attend all sorts of martial arts matches--which I always found more thrilling than conventional sports. I don't know if they are still available, but there were amazing videos of Chinese masters flipping half a dozen or so young students with great ease. They were not using strength, but chi as they spun around with great ease, moving so fast it was hard to believe it wasn't CGI.
And there was an incident of a martial arts master (I think he was over a hundred) killing several young hoods when he was attacked by a gang. When you study, you learn several death blows preventatively. With aikido, you learn to deflect your opponents energy and turn it against him. When I studied Hoshino therapy,we learned exercises for building chi so we could use this energy to heal people.
Well, in some ways this information generates a feeling of relief... for decades I have felt the ability to live a long life solely depended upon my own intrinsic abilities combined with genetics because my mother made it to 101 but did not exactly have all her facilities in order. I have long been interested and studied chinese medicine hearing for many decades stories of mysterious herbalist and medicine men surpassing two centuries.
About six or seven years ago when I was running my dogs up a mountain road outside of Hot Springs, Mt we were stopped by a rather frantic driver telling us to turn around because a mountain lion had been spotted killing deer and urged us to return to town.
