I think they've deployed heavy security every year since the early 2000s, but I've noticed that each year their security becomes heavier. In the 90s it wasn't nearly as heavy with some police presence but no open military with APCs and squad level crew served weapons on tops of roofs.

The NDP here are panicking over the rise of the new Premier Danielle Smith and her Alberta Sovereignty Act.
The NDP leader, Rachel Notley is a WEFer as was Jason Kenney, the former Alberta Premier who was voted out by his own party.
They are allied with Trudeau and want Ottawa to override the power of the provincial legislature who voted for the Act.
The election this spring will determine if Notley gets her wish of turning Alberta into a socialist colony.
What’s frightening are her plans for Covid quarantine camps and forced mandatory vaccinations and mask mandates, she will fall in complete lockstep with Trudeau’s WEF policies.
A great majority of Albertans have had enough and the separatist, independence movement has gained a lot of traction.
Smith’s proposal is to take a stand against Ottawa and Trudeau and assert provincial rights under Confederation.
Notley’s solution is to round up the dissidents, confiscate all their assets and jail them as traitors.
My own feeling is that once the effects of the Big Ugly strikes I think Alberta and perhaps Sask and central BC outside the lower mainland will be much better prepared for any crash.

There are many Albertans who remember Notley's 4 years in power, all she did was bloat the government even more while getting Alberta $50 billion in debt; in the 2019 election she was basically wiped out at the polls except for 2 ridings.
She appeals to those who think socialism and government are the answer to everything which incidentally coincides with the kind of thinking of the majority of people in those two districts who elected her, mostly university students, academics and white collar public service unions.
She lost the blue collar vote when she sided with Jagmeet Singh of the Federal NDP and came out against the trucker convoy, told Albertans she thinks Trudeau's covid mandates are the correct course of action and urged everyone to get vaccinated.

Notley's behavior and her statements actually did the conservatives a lot favors, she woke up a lot of apathetic voters. I know some people who were as deeply shocked with her as I was, these are immigrants who came from countries with authoritarian governments and Notley's talk of showing up at people's doors to force compliance has deeply concerned and in some cases scared them.
Yes that's the video I'm referencing and I think many Albertans saw that, she also mentioned those who refuse will be stripped of their assets/property and sent to a quarantine camp.

He came across as a lame duck almost from day one, was more interested in trying to land himself a spot in federal politics again than standing up against Trudeau.

I don't honestly know. It's a solid Conservative riding. I spoke on the phone to our outsider nominee candidate [Eric Bouchard] and his campaign manager. The campaign manager says he thinks it's doable because in his discussions with the current riding association they seem indecisive and one candidate they put forward pulled out after a couple weeks. There hasn't been a riding ass'n meeting in over a year and none are scheduled. I think the organizational people spent most of their efforts in the Premiere's office once he got there and not much time in the riding, and are licking their wounds because their leadership proxies got bounced. Those proxies are still in cabinet positions by way of Smith's peace making efforts, and they're all making nice for now.

Money backed by nothing but debt is sure to collapse - it always has, but I'm not sure about 2 years. The average life of fiat is about 50 years and Nixon did this to us in 1971 so we should be in the final innings, but I also think it's possible that those of us in our 60s or 70s will be dead before the empire of lies collapses. I don’t think the scenario you paint will come to pass, the total collapse of society which I call the Mad Max scenario.
However it does depend on your location, I would not be anywhere near the megalopolises of NY/NJ/DC/Boston or LA/SF, I think things will get bad in cities which have large welfare dependant populations.
I would hate living in inner city Chicago, or in Philly etc.
I do see the smaller cities bring relatively better off and I don’t think the rural area will notice that much at all.
Clif mentions a collective organization called the SOC which are fighting the WEF, I think there are contingency plans in place for such emergencies as a financial collapse.
Now how wealth is valued after such a collapse is an open question.
I think there is a lot of fear mongering being put out by the WEFers to manipulate and to maintain control over the public and to reduce the chances of open rebellion.

I’m not exactly scared but I’m apprehensive of what is to come, but we need to face our fears and tackle this head on, things will get better, even if things change to be strange and unfamiliar.
There will be a severe shortage of skilled and semi skilled labor, I don’t think many will be allowed to remain retired if they have essential skill sets like in healthcare or in maintenance, transportation etc.
I fully expect to see the mandatory retirement age completely abolished plus voluntary retirement raised to 70 or 75 depending on the health of the individual.
I think a leisure retirement of travel will be a thing of the past, too many hands on deck will be required for rebuilding the new world.
The only early retirement will be due to health reasons.
Remember the concept of retirement in the West didn’t really exist before the 1930s and the Great Depression which had to preserve jobs for younger workers, this meant that older workers needed to leave the workforce at 65.
Before 1930 it was common to see workers older than 70 still at their jobs as senior employees.
This will be a new world people from the early 1900s would recognize.
I don't see a medieval level of existence, Clif has mentioned previously that there were technological innovations which were being suppressed by the Cabal/KM which would astonish us.
I think these inventions will transform the way we live, certainly it will make the cost of certain commodities like energy much cheaper.
What will change is how we interact with each other and societal norms of participation and behavior.
No longer will this be a Facebook/TicToc/Youtube world of "influencers" who produce nothing concrete and sell only their personalities. (No more Mr.Beast!)
My own feeling is we'll go back to what it was like socially in the 1900s-1920s., selfish and self centered behavior will not be tolerated and criminal behavior will be severely punished.
Technologically we might even have a sustainable civilization which won't be deprived of standards of living ( I don't call having social media access 24/7 a part of the standard of living).
I can't see tenements and outhouses and slums coming back into existence in the cities.
It would be great to get back to basics where we know who controls us and how to defend ourselves from them. Where we know how their games are played and how to play those games and win.

My retired hubby is out chopping wood and hauling it back to the house,....he's caring for our 12 Chickens and built them a Sunroom off their RUN for the winter,....because of the Grand Solar Minimum. He fixed our gas stove last night, replaced the igniter, he's never run a farm in his life! He's a Software Engineer! We are gardening like Fiends! Trying to grow some of our own food during the short growing season up here, it ain't easy on this soil either, I wish I'd thought of that when we moved out of the big Cities into the Country....next time, if there is one, I'll pick Rural Ohio where the soil is much better, instead of Upper Michigan! LOL! But we're about as ready as we can get,....still need money to pay the property taxes,....what happens when no one can pay? Will they just take our land? Michigan has horrible record of taking people property if they are short $5 on the property taxes! Such an Uncertain Future is not fun.
In Canada it gets exponentially shorter, also survival on the prairie can be problematic with the harsh winters we get here if we didn’t abundant natural gas(Alberta).
I know people a few years ahead of me who do nothing but golf and travel in their retirement, they’re not 1%ers but middle class and saved for it.
Unfortunately such people are going to be in for a deep shock when the Big Ugly hits.
I have doubts they will be able to weather the storm psychologically as their dream of a leisurely life in their sunset years will burst like a soap bubble.
I on the other hand don’t like that kind of retirement, to me retirement = early death, I need to keep busy doing something useful though I’m not into strenuous physical labor.
Personally I wouldn’t mind tutoring and teaching kids properly, especially having to deprogram the youngest generation will be a challenge after the government funded school system is purged and collapses in the Big Ugly.

I have it easy right now, ... my 9yr old daughter gets my mood up just because I made dinner. I don't usually do it, because I grind my own chuck roasts for ground chuck, but every so often I take the easy out and toss a thinner roast in the broiler, bake a couple potatoes and steam some asparagus with hollandaise sauce and she immediately goes into her happy dance and raves on and on about wanting her roast cooked rare. Total carnivore !! lol Positive attitude, ... Sometimes, it's just that simple.
My favoritething is to collect my hens eggs everyday...sell the surplus ones, and collect my horses manure for my compost heap ready for spring planting of my veg garden. Then in the afternoon walk the dogs and take one of the horses up onto the hills foro a gallop....at 68 years of age I still manage to do all of this though winter rain is chalanging here in the UK at the moment with the fields like a marsh land!

IMO, If the banks collapse both assets and debts are effectively wiped out. I do believe there might be a form of asset preservation by the new government so that we don't have millions of penniless, starving people in the streets, this means mortgaged homeowners won't be booted out simply because they don’t have any money. Because of the level of disruption I believe there might very well be a debt jubilee and debt forgiveness for many people.

In Alberta the feeling is a weird one.
The NDP here are panicking over the rise of the new Premier Danielle Smith and her Alberta Sovereignty Act.
The NDP leader, Rachel Notley is a WEFer as was Jason Kenney, the former Alberta Premier who was voted out by his own party.
They are allied with Trudeau and want Ottawa to override the power of the provincial legislature who voted for the Act.
The election this spring will determine if Notley gets her wish of turning Alberta into a socialist colony.
What’s frightening are her plans for Covid quarantine camps and forced mandatory vaccinations and mask mandates, she will fall in complete lockstep with Trudeau’s WEF policies.
A great majority of Albertans have had enough and the separatist, independence movement has gained a lot of traction.
Smith’s proposal is to take a stand against Ottawa and Trudeau and assert provincial rights under Confederation.
Notley’s solution is to round up the dissidents, confiscate all their assets and jail them as traitors.

I don't honestly know. It's a solid Conservative riding. I spoke on the phone to our outsider nominee candidate [Eric Bouchard] and his campaign manager. The campaign manager says he thinks it's doable because in his discussions with the current riding association they seem indecisive and one candidate they put forward pulled out after a couple weeks. There hasn't been a riding ass'n meeting in over a year and none are scheduled. I think the organizational people spent most of their efforts in the Premiere's office once he got there and not much time in the riding, and are licking their wounds because their leadership proxies got bounced. I do think reparations will be made, especially to those who have proven claims of fraud and deception.

There will be a severe shortage of skilled and semi skilled labor, I don’t think many will be allowed to remain retired if they have essential skill sets like in healthcare or in maintenance, transportation etc.
I fully expect to see the mandatory retirement age completely abolished plus voluntary retirement raised to 70 or 75 depending on the health of the individual.
I think a leisure retirement of travel will be a thing of the past, too many hands on deck will be required for rebuilding the new world.
The only early retirement will be due to health reasons.
Remember the concept of retirement in the West didn’t really exist before the 1930s and the Great Depression which had to preserve jobs for younger workers, this meant that older workers needed to leave the workforce at 65.

I have it easy right now, ... my 9yr old daughter gets my mood up just because I made dinner. I don't usually do it, because I grind my own chuck roasts for ground chuck, but every so often I take the easy out and toss a thinner roast in the broiler, bake a couple potatoes and steam some asparagus with hollandaise sauce and she immediately goes into her happy dance and raves on and on about wanting her roast cooked rare. Total carnivore !! lol Positive attitude, ... Sometimes, it's just that simple.
My favoritething is to collect my hens eggs everyday...sell the surplus ones, and collect my horses manure for my compost heap ready for spring planting of my veg garden. Then in the afternoon walk the dogs and take one of the horses up onto the hills foro a gallop....at 68 years of age I still manage to do all of this though winter rain is chalanging here in the UK at the moment with the fields like a marsh land!

Well, even if you wanted to only use hardened iron, anything that you have value for, that they do not have any interest in, depreciates their wealth. So whatever you use, make sure it is something they do not hold (this the what is behind the 'green agenda' and then trying to capitalize on all the worlds wealth. Hitler, interestingly enough, wanted a currency based only on an actual labor of a man. So no matter how 'rich' the WEF was at any time, their own personal ability to accrue wealth would have only been based on their own days worth of labor. This seems very fair to me because #1 I think they are worthless #2 there are about 1,000 things I can think of that are far more valuable in terms of their actual value than a politician. Any plumber or carpenter or farmer has far more worth value to me than a politician or any other government enforcer. What is the ROI on a politician? It is nothing, right? I mean a politician is supposed to be an administrative position that holds no power at all. They are solely responsible for looking after the health and welfare of their people and nothing more. In the famous words of Ronald Regan, "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives." so they are simply administrative and their actual value should be relegated this way as well. If there is one thing worth less in the world than a politician, it is an out and out parasite.
Someone who lives high on the hog on other peoples labor and money sure sound like a parasite to me; but these people take it even further than that, causing actual harm and damage.

IMO, If the banks collapse both assets and debts are effectively wiped out. I do believe there might be a form of asset preservation by the new government so that we don't have millions of penniless, starving people in the streets, this means mortgaged homeowners won't be booted out simply because they don’t have any money. Because of the level of disruption I believe there might very well be a debt jubilee and debt forgiveness for many people.
In the US, Trump at one point was pushing the idea of abolishing the Income Tax! Imagine the money you made if you could keep almost all of it! Local taxes are another matter entirely but for many people an instant 20-30% more in their pockets without a raise!
I think the economy might be shaken badly but I don't think we'll see hyper inflation or extreme deflation, remember there are "white hats" which have worked to overthrow the WEF and they don't want to be leaving a smoldering rubble pile for posterity.
I do believe Trudeau, Freeland and many others will be held accountable and arrested, I think many WEFers will be executed, even in Canada, once their true crimes come out, I think Trudeau does have some very scary skeletons in his closet.
