Clif, as a professional religious scholar who has focused on the study of Greek, Hebrew, Latin, etc. Let me commend you and thank for these incredible insights into the origins and development of human language. I wish I had run across this information decades ago as I was studying ancient languages intensely. I would have learned much and benefited tremendously. I'm the guy who always calls you Professor in commenting on your posts which are nothing short of university grade lectures. Your work is invaluable. Thanks and keep it up.

It's heartbreaking to think there were Sumerian texts that were destroyed without being translated. Awful. Who knows what we could have learned?
