Speaking of 'great expectations', I wanted to warn people about something that Cliff talked about yesterday. It's about Tulsi Gabbard. Now, America has had this 'savior complex' thing going on for many, many years. There always seems to be some figure who will come run rough shod over the 'establishment' and bring us to nirvanah. Unfortunately, it never happens.
Gabbard is not a hero and her 'change of mind' is just another misdirection. Like Trump before her, she will not be leading us to the promised land. The entire political system is a psyop, but certainly if you want to participate, be my guest. Everyone needs to decide what they want to do in their life, so if voting or attending rallies floats your boat, then that's at least a relatively benign human activity. Just don't expect a change. Change can and does occur, but it's generally on the individual level. It is more bottom up than top down. Radically change yourself - change your world.
You may very well be right about Tulsi, often when something seems too good to be true, it is! She was also WEF young leader, so there is that! On the other hand we have to stay open for the possibility that powerful people stand with humanity! If one is in a powerful position they must habe gotten there somehow, they must have gotten past a lot dark gatekeepers and rubbed shoulders with a lot of shady characters! It is a contradiction that Gabbard only figured all this out now. It is possible that the Dems wanted some members who were avowing conservative principles to characterize their party as big tent. At this moment it is difficult to trust ANYONE who is making a claim as to what they believe in.

Regarding your "little practical reform" remark, I would ask you here or on your channel to elaborate on what you think is impractical, otherwise this remark seems dismissive. In fact, I wish anyone on this blog including Clif would take up this challenge. Also I should point out that Charles Hugh Smith's book (if you would go through its 344 pages on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Global-Crisis-National-Renewal-Revolutionary-ebook/dp/B09MR9PTPM/) is much more general than specific by comparison. But, primarily I would say, reforms are always considered impractical and are dismissed out of hand when they are first suggested, and a book on reforms it would seem to me is often dismissed as useless and not worth the time to read.
You suggested two ideas in your video. One is that technology now permits direct democracy so anyone could propose a bill and it would be subject to telephonic-poll approval. I think here the question is, what keeps someone from proposing a bill that confiscates the wealth of others in favor of some identified majority (or collection-of-minorities) group, that is, embodies a tyranny of the majority. D'Souza often discusses this in his YouTube lectures, saying, "Do you think if 99 of you voted to take the wealth of 1 person, that would be right, I don't think you would ever think that was right" but we now know that there are MANY who would not hesitate to use government to get them wealth; if all they have to do is vote and money is added to their account, they think that is good, and any excuse to do so, such as reparations, is fine with them. But I like your idea in that I think at the very least we should use telephonics as an additional check against bad legislation, it would have stopped the Obamacare fiasco. Also I think telephonics should be used to subject representatives to instant recall.
Your second idea discussed on that video was reversion of powers to the States. Of course there is a problem here because we have a federal military, if we reverted to State Militias there is the prospect of more war between states. Also there are the problems widely discussed when this nation functioned under the Articles Of Confederation that resulted in the adoption of the Constitution. However, overall, I think reversion of power to the States should be very specifically defined so that we know what roles the federal government HAS to perform to make things work, and anything that can be done at the State level SHOULD be done EXCLUSIVELY at the State level because once there is "log-rolling" (we do THIS in your state if we do THAT in mine) then those negotiations are not subject to LIGHT and ALMOST ALWAYS end up with provisions that are CORRUPT.

Parallel economy and living on the edges of society or hide in plain sight (which I think won't really work). Now, I am old and I can probably pull off the edge of society part better than some as I have lived rural since I was 23. Younger people with kids and trying to earn a living in a collapsing economy may find it harder, but I have faith in the adaptability of people. These parallel communities and economies must be developed. clif high often mentions SOCs Self organizing collectives. That is important. They don't need to always be permanent "institutions", but they can be assembled and disassembled as needed for specific purposes including security, economic endeavors, barn raising type construction projects, education kids outside of the state schools, midwifery, and concierge medicine, gardening and produce selling ....

We would have a codified guide of behavior to live by and protect us as a society. On Great Expectations mine are to save my children and grandchildren from themselves. Being educated in public schools in Illinois little did I know Then that I was paying to corrupt my children. My two children, My husband and I worked so hard to put them through college with masters both. We had no college education. We were so proud. Now I look and just hang my head. I've found that Christians fall into two broad categories.
One group and the most vocal, though not the most numerous are the Rapture/End Times Christians. The ones looking forward to the "Return" of Christ and the ending of everything where they and theirs will be saved and everyone else will burn.
The larger but mostly silent group are those Christians who actually think about scripture and don't try and spin it to fit world events.

Regarding your "little practical reform" remark, I would ask you here or on your channel to elaborate on what you think is impractical, otherwise this remark seems dismissive. In fact, I wish anyone on this blog including Clif would take up this challenge. Also I should point out that Charles Hugh Smith's book (if you would go through its 344 pages on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Global-Crisis-National-Renewal-Revolutionary-ebook/dp/B09MR9PTPM/) is much more general than specific by comparison. But, primarily I would say, reforms are always considered impractical and are dismissed out of hand when they are first suggested, and a book on reforms it would seem to me is often dismissed as useless and not worth the time to read.
You suggested two ideas in your video. One is that technology now permits direct democracy so anyone could propose a bill and it would be subject to telephonic-poll approval. I think here the question is, what keeps someone from proposing a bill that confiscates the wealth of others in favor of some identified majority (or collection-of-minorities) group, that is, embodies a tyranny of the majority. D'Souza often discusses this in his YouTube lectures, saying, "Do you think if 99 of you voted to take the wealth of 1 person, that would be right, I don't think you would ever think that was right" but we now know that there are MANY who would not hesitate to use government to get them wealth; if all they have to do is vote and money is added to their account, they think that is good, and any excuse to do so, such as reparations, is fine with them. But I like your idea in that I think at the very least we should use telephonics as an additional check against bad legislation, it would have stopped the Obamacare fiasco. Also I think telephonics should be used to subject representatives to instant recall.
Your second idea discussed on that video was reversion of powers to the States. Of course there is a problem here because we have a federal military, if we reverted to State Militias there is the prospect of more war between states. Also there are the problems widely discussed when this nation functioned under the Articles Of Confederation that resulted in the adoption of the Constitution. However, overall, I think reversion of power to the States should be very specifically defined so that we know what roles the federal government HAS to perform to make things work, and anything that can be done at the State level SHOULD be done EXCLUSIVELY at the State level because once there is "log-rolling" (we do THIS in your state if we do THAT in mine) then those negotiations are not subject to LIGHT and ALMOST ALWAYS end up with provisions that are CORRUPT.
You said here no one seems to be working on a plan for addressing reforms after post-arrest-disclosure. Parallel economy and living on the edges of society or hide in plain sight (which I think won't really work). Now, I am old and I can probably pull off the edge of society part better than some as I have lived rural since I was 23. Younger people with kids and trying to earn a living in a collapsing economy may find it harder, but I have faith in the adaptability of people. These parallel communities and economies must be developed. clif high often mentions SOCs Self organizing collectives. That is important. I've been musing about this "Waiting for Godot" issue for some time, maybe forever, just like the "waiters" in this play which has always puzzled me..
Was it the Democratic System that ruled our lives, with the alternating "saviour" in the shape of "the other side" of the political interplay? When that failed to keep us happy we started hoping and waiting for another election which would see us expecting improvements that, always promised, never materialised.
Is this an inbuilt aspect of the human psyche which keeps us living in hope and projecting that hope onto the next candidate? Or was it inculcated into us by those who subsequently profited by it, the Masters, currently represented by the WEFfers, or other, similar manifestations of power over us Humans promising to make us happy?
How many religions/faiths include the persona of a saviour? Are we this way because of entraining to keep us manageable or because we can finally sense our own evolution into a new stage of existence, a stage which projects us into true human adulthood, where we take ownership of ourselves and evolve finally into true sovereignty? I've found that Christians fall into two broad categories.
One group and the most vocal, though not the most numerous are the Rapture/End Times Christians. The ones looking forward to the "Return" of Christ and the ending of everything where they and theirs will be saved and everyone else will burn.
The larger but mostly silent group are those Christians who actually think about scripture and don't try and spin it to fit world events.

I humbly posit that raising the level of awareness of millions, hopefully billions, that tptb have successfully suppressed for millennia, even just a little bit is an “amount” of “enlightenment” sufficient to turn this massive ship around.
We don’t have to become, nor is it practical to think we/any would become spiritual masters overnight.
The new awareness of the truth about what has going on on the planet for all of recorded history, the great awakening, is a tiny step on the path to spiritual mastery. Each will proceed at their own pace.
I will also suggest that for us in the vanguard (if you’re reading Clif or other suspect spots where awake minds tend to gravitate you’re in the vanguard) one huge (using that word a lot, aren’t I? eek) spiritual lesson that applies even now is compassion. We have yet a different type of great task ahead of us.

My spiritual teachers have been clear: the soul is not the person. The soul is the expression of the Greater Consciousness, the infinite, God Almighty. The person, suffering from ego illusion, makes choices, often in stark contrast to the God-light of the soul.
We can offer the SOUL compassion and forgiveness and simultaneously go as far as executing the person, without “fear” of judgment ourselves. The immortal soul is the concern of realms beyond our ken.
Balance will be restored but woah is that a long journey. I might not live to see it but it will happen.
