Where I live people have died from dog attacks and the authorities go after the owners of dogs very aggressively. Her personality completely changed after she was spayed and given a rabies vaccine. She suddenly bite my realtor while we were looking at a property. The second attack occured a few weeks later when she attacked a worker doing landscaping. We saw what looked like a missile on the initial news reports before all of that mysteriously disappeared, because we were all sitting in the auditorium watching the TVs while we awaited orders. I found it odd (at the time) that the local news could not find ANYONE who had seen a huge airliner flying that low over an interstate highway in metro DC. That plus the footage was when I suspected the stories were BS.
Anyways, we started being assigned to various details and my name was called for body recovery detail at the Pentagon, but I was pulled off of that at the last minute by my first sergeant. At the time I thought it was because I had just been through a personal trauma, but in retrospect, there may have been another reason.
Anyways, I went down to the Pentagon on my own about two days later. There was a Navy gas station at the annex nearby (it's now gone) and I could get close enough to see a lot of things without being disturbed by anyone.
To this day, I remember looking and thinking that the building didn't look like a giant aircraft had hit it. The impact shapes didn't fit, and I don't remember seeing debris scattered everywhere either, like what you usually see when there is a plane crash - even a small one. They didn't offer him a desk job to finish out his 20? That's not right. He must have been really ill, I'd suppose, couldn't work at all?
