Yea I grew up in that Soviet you are referencing lol

It was no joke

As you said we had money just nothing in the stores

I vividly remember standing in line three damn blocks long to the grocery store . Just to get some bread . You guys have no idea how fucked up it is to stand in line for hours just to be told when it’s your turn or almost your turn that they have ran out and we had to leave with no food lol

I’m laughing now ….

They would give you a voucher and tell you to try again 🤣

But hey we are all here , we all survived

My dad dreamed of coming to America

He died while we were getting the documents ready

My mom, my brother and I came

Who would have known that 30 years later we would be facing the same problems HERE in AMERICA

Wow life really is something ain’t it

I accept the challenge

Let’s play

Perhaps this is foolish, but I can't help wonder if I should move back after my family immigrated 100+ years ago. Seems Russia protects freedoms these days more than the USA does... Am I crazy?

You're certainly not crazy. Russia has much to recommend her... the Russians themselves, mainly. Not everyone, of course, but there are lots of good people who still see past the material world. That said, I still think there's something unique about our Constitution and America still has lots of hard-living, hard-headed fiercely independent mavericks who will go down fighting. Personally, that's where I want to be.

And not a lot of people were lucky enough to have meat

Only those who worked government jobs were handed out meat I believe as a form of payment

But I tell you what

We survived and we were strong people

There's 20x more Gold available then Silver, Gold for the most part doesn't get burned up in industrial use like Silver does, and there is still plenty of Gold left in the Earth's crust, whereas Silver Mines are starting to run dry. I remember it so well myself. At one point in a tour hosted by Richard Nixon he exclaimed "We will bury you!" He was referring to economically, but of course it got played up as being a literal statement. It's a real shame that monster Allen Dulles had so much covert power; according to Col L. Fletcher Prouty ("The Secret Team") it was Dulles who ordered the U-2 spy plane piloted by Gary Francis Power to be sent off short of its necessary-quantity-for sustained high-altitude-flight hydrogen tanks from Pakistan, causing it to run out over Sverdlovsk, and sabotaging the scheduled nuclear arms reduction treaty talks in Paris later that year in 1961.

Between that and the not-so-secret stationing of Jupiter nuclear missiles in Turkey next to the USSR's border, subsequent events led to the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Our current mediocre and infiltrated/influenced-by-Israel State Department lacks both the talent and morals to keep us from self-annihilation on this latest go-round. We (thanks to the grotesquely unqualified Blinken / Nuland, et al, 'team,' don't stand a chance in all they have done (mistakes) to put us in such peril this time.

Oh man!, you just made my day!

The day has come! Finally.

I can visualize her slinking away in all of her gross hideousness, not ashamed for her actions, nay, but knowing as do the rest of us, that she. has. failed! No guilt for her for the hundreds of thousands of lives stolen under her sway, the mutilated many scarred for a lifetime due to her perverse and illicit dreams of domination and dominion, no, she'll remain true to her guiding light of sociopathy.

But: she knows the world now knows; she is an abject career failure, not only for her unbridled hubris having come up so far short, but especially for her callous, mass-murdering ways which now will forever mark her as a failed, love-lacking human being.

And in spite of monsters of her ilk always financially falling upward further in their post-political careers, her legacy will be eternally etched in the dwelling place of the crepuscular night creatures, when the swamp comes alive and the methane bubbles boil, all around one more poisonous dumpy old broad whose sun has finally set.

Bitcoin isn't backed by anything. It's like fiat currency in that regard. People just agree that it has value. And that guy who supposedly created it has ties to The Company.

But my bigger problem with Bitcoin is that if the power goes out or the net goes down, your Bitcoin isn't available and doesn't exist. And even when the net is up, Bitcoin isn't real. It's virtual. It's electronic. You can't hold it in your hand. Bitcoin makes my spider senses tingle.

It is an interesting idea though.
