This is off topic, but Jeff Prather just had interviewed Pascal Najadi and they broke news that NY Supreme Court is allowing them to sue Pfizer and HHS in US, and same in Switzerland.

Pfizer is being sued for $3T for alleged false claims about COVID vaccines - this the first of many and then there is Nuremberg 2.0.

Interesting as Pascal put that to the Swiss court. Hoping we get something tangible done. With compromised justice systems everywhere…. Pascal has faith in the Swiss judicial system, time will tell.

Clif I believe that, in FDIA, the authority figure (or "caregiver") imposing the disorder/disease on another, may actually cause the victim to actually exhibit or manifest that disorder factually so that the disease in the victim becomes real rather than factitious.

This happened to my first wife. Her mother convinced her that she was asthmatic and she even used an inhaler for it. It wasn't till she moved out of mother's home that she finally figured out that she was not an asthmatic sickly child. Also there's a theory that mom was a serial killer, but that's another story.

GRY's avatar

I know what he's talking about on the science side, however I don't agree with this interpretation of it.

He talks about EM field tensors and gravitational tensors etc and knows some of the terminology but those are complex topics, very complex topics which require a lot of background study to understand their proper usage and reference in physics.

You need at least three years of university math including linear algebra, full calculus, ordinary and partial differential equations plus a course in Riemann(Non-Euclidean) geometry and Differential Geometry plus the basics of Tensor Algebra/Grassman Algebra and Tensor Calculus to grasp the more difficult concepts in GR.

For special relativity you really only need high school geometry and algebra.

Without revealing too much I do have a degree in Physics(among others) and worked under profs in undergraduate research projects which involved General relativity and QM.

I agree that String theory and M-theory are probably bullshit because they're way too down the mathematical rabbit hole. Scientists, especially theoreticians tend to fall in love with their own theories and spin them as facts and defend them to the death as if they're children(which they are to the person who gave "birth" to the idea").

However quantum mechanics and General and Special relativity have been thoroughly tested and proven in their predictions over the past century.

Modern semiconductor electronics wouldn't work if they didn't have a proper understanding of QM and semiconductors including stuff like current leakage and Josephson junction(quantum tunneling effects) and some types of transistors. They are now coming to the limits of chip fabrication because the size of the elements in a chip are so small that quantum mechanical effects begin to dominate.

https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/648399/is-semiconductor-theory-really-based-on-quantum-mechanics

Also, the GPS system would not work at all to modern levels of accuracy(centimeters) if General Relativity were wrong or fake.

https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/1061/why-does-gps-depend-on-relativity

Whether or not Einstein was a "name stealer", the theories which he's credited with(rightly or wrongly) have been proven time and again and tested thoroughly.

I guess this will probably be my last comment on these blogs, I tend to agree with Clif on some of his views on the political side and how this war is being played out in the time sequence.

But I'm sicked by some of the very racist and hate filled comments here which want to blame anyone of a certain class or race or religion for all their problems(generalizations).

You can feel the hatred and the justification for that hatred, I don't think its Clif's fault in that I don't think he's openly trying to promote bigotry against specific groups of people but it's gotten too difficult to read through these comments without cringing and feeling ill.

This war requires unity of the people, it's the enemy which wants division so we are all weakened, but some people have fallen into the trap of being told to hate certain groups and only those groups and can't see the manipulation behind those views.

Of course there are the "agents" who are working for the enemy and they are on most social media to sow as much discord and chaos as possible.

Surge protector. A good one. Actually use more because everything is parallel in your house panel. When you get dirty spikes of electricity, the surge protectors absorb that energy and if it's enough it shorts out the circuit to trip it.

These appliances have very weak power supplies that burn out for stupid things.

Old school little transformers were better in that they isolated the device from a direct link to the feed, as instead it's being induced and the iron core and windings can resist a spike in with induction...

A fridge from 23 years ago far different from a fridge made today. As an Interior Designer I purchase about 80 machines over year for my clients, many been integrated (built-in or counter depth). I get most of mine from New Zealand... Fisher and Paykel...amazing products for the price.

My sewing machines are old, all metal parts. We all know everything can be made to last decades, and I think going forward they will be vs the "throw away" bs they've forced us into.

I once had a similar problem. Turned-out there was a loose neutral line in our breaker box on one circuit to the kitchen. This intermittently caused 240V to be sent down a 120V circuit. Had to replace oven control board, electronic toaster, and power supply to a WiFi AP. I discovered it when I closely inspected the box and noticed marks indicating that arcing had been happening on the affected screw-down terminal.
