Clif I believe that, in FDIA, the authority figure (or "caregiver") imposing the disorder/disease on another, may actually cause the victim to actually exhibit or manifest that disorder factually so that the disease in the victim becomes real rather than factitious.

I was Dx'd with hemochromatosis in 2019. Changed my diet around, take certain supplements, etc. It's a genetic condition on my mother's side (Eastern European males are susceptible to it).
