Are you suggesting drugs is causing homelessness or are you suggesting homelessness and the route to, causes drug dependency? BIG difference. Seems to me if the land was returned to the people instead of being seen as owned, (whatever that means), through criminal economics, many problems would cease to exist including homelessness. Having to pay someone to live on the planet you were born on is patently ridiculous.

THEN came insterstate boom and every family owned a car , soon 2 cars and urban sprawl MASSIVELY diluted the people in tax pool per unit of infrastructure so that once it was paid for with debt and or higher property taxes , it was IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX without MASSIVE increases in debt and prop taxes.
without a debt cancelation all western cities built with urban sprawl are INEVITABLY going to COLLAPSE !
sell YOUR OVERPRICED URBAN HOUSES NOW and move rural to acreeeages or small towns and get debt free.
the single story urban sprawl of strip malls and single family homes was ALWAYS A DISASTER WAITING TO HAPPEN.
Now 50 yrs after most cities fukked up so badly they HAVE TO TRY depopulation top down fascist control or everything[real estate, infrastructure like roads, bridges, sewer, water, electric/gas] is going to collapse worse than it already has
