I just went to my 55th last month. Somehow it doesn't take all that long. I look into the mirror and see my father, but I don't feel all that old. The funny thing is that all that I saw at the reunion was OLD people! What an interesting time to be alive.

Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. 1951-1952 was a good time to be born. I was just young enough to not be affected much by Nam, but I still was cognizant about what was going on. No political correctness yet, but I was still at a place where I thought we, (my g-g-g-generation; Remember that song) could fix the world. I had all of the answers too. I sure miss those times. Hell, I don't even know the questions anymore!
Heidi, I don't know how long it has been since you graduated, but it can really be interesting. Time has a way of chopping off the high parts and filling in the lower parts of life. Those that were "cool" then are often fat and bald or ugly, and vice versa. Some of them are downright scarry looking. At least they do come though. It sounds like you have done well for yourself, and the interesting thing is that you don't have to say or do anything to get "revenge" if you will. Just show up and be. They will notice and if my experiences are any indication, they will be jealous and they will also regret. I don't know if you have had any children, but those types of things tend to separate everyone. It is not who is or was "cool" anymore, but that you now have in common. I suppose it also makes a difference how much time has passed. I was not popular in school, or one of the "in" crowd, but I knew everyone. I just never hung out with anyone. I worked with my father and family and played sports. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...or last as it is. Good luck and happy hunting. You are doing well. I’ve never done a reunion for anything. I reason that I live life moving forward rather than backward, plus I have nothing to prove - and I’m delighted that I’m no longer young and enjoy the company of fools (no insults intended).
Has anyone tried to comment on the latest video? I think Clif might have pulled the plug like he was threatening. Earlier in the day I saw that he had posted a new one and I looked about 3 PM and there were 20 comments. Now you get a message that the site can't be found. Any ideas? We should not have commented on Heidi. John
