I am doing a lot of sprouting tight now for my poultry — specifically, milo (red sorghum grown in nearby Texas aling the Rio Grande) hard red spring wheat, which I will be growing in flats for some rabbits and making wheat grass juice— in summer I freeze it in ice cube trays to make afternoon cocktails with citrus..and there are Half gallon bottles of all sorts of levels and field peas, clover seed, radish, & sunflower.
The chicken poop does not have that characteristic smell, so I think the sprouting is impacting their guts..they are only four months old and I just started sprouting their food two weeks ago when i got them

I'm just finishing reading the ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING book by Robert Temple: '*A New Science of Heaven*" about plasma physics. Now, before anyone goes screaming out of the room, there's not a single equation or graph of sine waves in it. I ordered it right after watching an interview with him (worth every SECOND of time!):

I also, because I'm interested in the Sphinx, ordered his Sphinx book -- ALSO gripping! He and Olivia his wife gathered up 'travellers reports' and articles/letters by explorers and visitors --going back to the 1500s!! Robt translated the German ones, Olivia the French ones, and they paid to have the Dutch one translated... I have been oh-so-carefully avoiding Appendix 2 in the Sphinx book - because the translations are there! The book itself -- and the (hundreds?) of old photos, glass plates, drawings, and so on, with long captions about each! -- is completely engaging!

Plasma is some funny stuff
There has been a rash of commercials on television recently touting the importance/necessity of buying the latest hygiene product-- whole body deodorant. If you live in fear of offending someone because of smells emanating from your crotch, your smelly neck, the overloaded lymphatic cells behind your knees -- anywhere that just doesn't smell great-- this product is for you!
If, on the other hand you would like to aid your body in eliminating the poisons that cause odor, try eating fenugreek sprouts. These magical little seeds are quite ancient and have an affinity for your lymph system. The bonus is a smell similar to maple syrup-- and a really lovely surprise when you go pee.
Warning, many varieties of fenugreek seed won't sprout. I am currently using True Leaf seeds and they are very inexpensive.

I really don't know I have used fresh fenugreek sprouts since the 1980"s and found them to be far more potent than just making a tea of the seeds. They go a very long way -- sprouting generates vitamins, enzymes, etc and seems to raise the chi or life force so you are increasing their potency. 🖖
I am doing a lot of sprouting tight now for my poultry — specifically, milo (red sorghum grown in nearby Texas aling the Rio Grande) hard red spring wheat, which I will be growing in flats for some rabbits and making wheat grass juice— in summer I freeze it in ice cube trays to make afternoon cocktails with citrus..and there are Half gallon bottles of all sorts of levels and field peas, clover seed, radish, & sunflower.
The chicken poop does not have that characteristic smell, so I think the sprouting is impacting their guts..they are only four months old and I just started sprouting their food two weeks ago when i got them
Interesting impact. Will have to add this to my ideas for improvement of animal feeds and soil formulation.
