a local olive grower also had a snail farm, didnt take much space, but good sales to local restaurants who are always looking for something different to serve. You have to clean out the sht shute though (like peeling off the same off the back of a prawn). I think when the snails got to a reasonable size, they were given sand or some roughage to clean out their guts. after a while, they improved into a more palatable looking paler color as well.

Heard that snails and slugs don't like aluminum foil. Might try wrapping the stems with that or putting them around the base. Don't know if it works but might be worth a try.
I heard that one should put out shallow dishes with beer in them, like a saucer or what have you. The snails go for it and get drunk and drown. Sounds more humane than a lot of other ways to die.

My previous climate was northern californica with loamy soil, lots of daylight and a growing season from April to oct (Cannabis Territory ;-) We grew shit year round! I am now surrounded by the Mark Twain Ntl. Forest on 3 acres off grid w/power drawing water from the river and treating with CLO2 and triple carbon filtering for drinking, etc. Three tanks: Garden, outside shower/utility, and potable/ camper tank. Gotta Love It! Lets see what the garden does!
I do container gardening (red clay just too hard and bugs too numerous) and found root veggies are best, plus tomatoes. (Romas work beautifully.) You need a lot of beanstalks to get even one "mess" of beans. Better to buy from local farmers. Agree about the flowers. Zinnias.
I think a drink is above way to go, lol! Aphid are normally a sign of too much nitrogen. So soil remediation can help. I tried growing shoo fly but it's so cold here this year they haven't germinated. No one is selling live plants. I've been told that also they can colonise to the point of being invasive. However, they're very pretty, so I think keeping them under control wouldn't be any issue for the pleasure they'd bring too
Gosh darnit, I had no luck w/my root vegis {carrots, beets} last year. But then again I spread the seeds too tightly in a hurry they needed more room,,,,,still have some cabbage, cucumber, and squash though. Should probably look at making a home for them..?;-)

Hi, here in Spain we collect snails at then put them in jars or bags with sprigs of rosemary. This makes them taste delicious 😋

Slugs decimate sunflower, I've all bur given up trying. We have some sort of soup borer that gets in to root veg

It's a military program, although I could not tell you which. I'm not sanguine about it being commercial flights. I have seen photos of the machines and the containers, and they take up a lot of room. Nor do commercial flights have the flight plan capacity to cross-hatch the sky in any specific area. I gotta go with majority prop engines, lower-flying and slower-moving (perhaps unmarked) military and independent contractors. Plenty of those.
I am in a flight path to a large airport. I have never seen a commercial aircraft outfitted for chemtrails, and I look for it.

There is an airbase 30 miles from here, now that it has been brought up I will pay more attention when I am over that way. There are lots of cargo planes on training missions all the time. I don't think they are dropping chem trails though or I probably would have noticed.

Scientist found even fish depressed by it, lack of mating in animals afterwards too.

I saw trails yesterday and the day before heard loud what sounded like military jets way up in the sky, but before that, like you said, not much action. From south central TN.

Texas skies have been too busy with cloud seeding for near constant heavy rains and storms to have chem trails appear. Rainiest springtime I've experienced over 69 years in north TX.

The temps are way below last year (thank god) when we were into the high 90's and up to 100 in May consistently, yet the weather channel keeps putting out "extreme heat warnings".
