They are poisoning pet foods. Tell them to go to home cooked foods. The dogs will love it and the recipes are easy. Also cheaper than commercial foods. My sister has fed her dog nothing but home cooked foods from the time he was a puppy. He is at least 15 years old and healthy. YT has a ton of recipe videos.
I know that most commercial dog food is poisonous. Some of it is okay, but it is very expensive. I gave Bisou a lot of homemade dog food -- chicken livers, gizzards, and such. My dog lived until age 13, but she should have lived longer and it was my fault that she died when she did. I will never get over that. She waited until I went out -- which I rarely did, as I am retired. I came home from an errand and she was gone. It was the most painful experience of my life. I got hysterical and was shrieking on the street. And tears are running down my face now, and it's been many years since she left. She was the sweetest dog! A beautiful Italian greyhound who was so shy to begin with! She had been returned to the breeder once, and it took a while before she trusted us, but it did come about.
