Living in Washington State everyone has big houses. I am Clif's age and don't want stairs and don't want to live in a big house. Bought land and built a 2 bedroom/2 full bath house with office. I live surrounded by forest and have only seen Big Foot once. I don't go into the forest mostly out of respect. So I'm thinking it is easier to find Big Foot than a small house.

I inherited one. A small house, not Bigfoot.

Are you in Washington State? When the Lewis County Assessor (Washington State) showed up to check out the property, he commented that he didn't have a box to check on our house. Two bedroom, two bath, office, Atrium, who does that on 20 acres? Perfect for 2 people. The town I live in, has one person per square mile and as the installer for internet said, it's in the middle of nowhere, but actually 15 minutes from town.

No, in Ontario on a small lot. I don't have 20 acres, but I do have about 10 acres close by. Trying to start apple trees.

Clif's wife is Handicapped, I am too. A one floor house is a must. :) I was so excited to find the one we bought 3 years ago,....so much room for my Wheelchair! I can get every where in this house. That's what Clif is looking to rent I think. I hope he finds one. He also has 2 big dogs, that makes it hard to rent sometimes too.

He's buying not renting. But yes all the construction in WA is stack em high and pave every blackberry bush - also I think flooding is always a concern in this state.

Yes. ItтАЩs hard finding a ranch style. Better to have one built.

Hi Frances.

It sounds to me Earth Mother has accept your offer of Respect with a gift of one of her most illusive creatures,Sasquatch. When we give her respect, Our Earth Mother opens her arms to all of her creatures to enjoy her Breath Taking Beauty, Partake of her Bountiful Food Basket or Basque in Her Enlightening Spirit. When much is given much is received. IMHO

Kenneth, I don't go in the woods unless necessary. It gets very disorientating to go into that area and all you hear is the audible hum. Thankfully, my side-by-side is bright orange so, I could see it and get out. But, when I saw him, I was in my goat pen which borders the old growth forest. He was walking in the open area between the old growth and a younger forest area. He had to know I was there. I wasn't scared and he just kept walking. Even the deer disappear when they enter the forest because of all the growth. I don't carry a cell phone when I am working with the animals, so no photo. He was f'ing huge width, girth and length.
