Absolutely. There are psych studies showing that pedophiles have an extremely high recidivism rate. IMO they should either get life or death penalty. No parole, no sentence shorter than life. Personally. I do not like the idea of paying for their life sentences. And for certain KBJ, should fail this nomination process completely. IMO she should never be allowed to adjudicate anymore, especially anything related to sex crimes including child trafficking, porn , molestation etc. What she said made my hair stand on end!!!! I'm not a legal Eagle or a shrink, but I've read plenty on the subject. You would think a JUDGE would do the same to educate themselves. 😱

Prepubescence is defined as a child who has not yet developed secondary sexual characteristics. Female children can develop those characteristics as early as 8 (8-13) years old and the average is 10.5 years. (This is probably why Inga referenced "8 years old") Male children can develop secondary sexual characteristics as early as 9 (9-14) years old, with the average being 11.5 years. I think we need to redefine the legal definition of pedophilia to make it age specific, not biologically specific. Because 8 - 14 year-olds are STILL vulnerable children, regardless of the state of their secondary sexual characteristic! The existing definition is absurdly applied and limited in protecting our children from predators.
